01

Project overview

Ahun is a social media platform for discovering places and events around you. It has integrated services such as digital ticketing for events and delivery services.

For this project, we used a goal-directed design method that revolves around persona creation and goals.

Competitive analysis

None of the companies we studied compete directly with Ahun, but they can still eat into its revenue and popularity. Ahun can bring products from each into a one-stop shop without oversaturating the user's choices. Most features were similar; the main differences were:

  • Easily accessible vs. hardly accessible
  • Too many screens vs. simplified interaction
  • Bright, distracting interface vs. minimalistic interface
  • Specialization of products
03

Usability study findings

  • Too many process and screen flows when ordering multiple offerings
  • 2/3 participants struggled to find the post/share vibe button
  • 2/3 participants struggled to find event tickets

Mockups

Based on the usability study, my team and I added labels to the navigation bar and reworked the explore page so users can find events much more easily.
